This work is part of a series of works based on a foggy childhood memory (The accident of Thorns) in which I was supposedly hurt by the thorns of a branch being cut in the garden. In this case, a character encounters a moving branch, which he furiously  hits with a stick. The figure’s title, Traveler, is suggested by the bag on a stick that he carries.

The sculpture was modeled in styrofoam and covered in polymer clay wherever the skin would be visible. Clothing was made specially for the boy.
